SERVICES at St HELEN’S

MONTHLY SERVICE PATTERN

SUNDAYS

1st Sunday of the month:  Open Worship Service at 10am and Evensong at 6.30 pm.

2nd Sunday of the month: Holy Communion Service at 10am and  'Messy Church'  at 4.00 pm.

3rd Sunday of the month: Holy Communion Service (with Sunday Seekers) at 10.00 am.

4th and 5th Sundays of the month: Holy Communion Service at 10.00 am.

WEEKDAYS (every week)

10 am              Holy Communion every Wednesday

St Helen’s is open during daylight hours for prayer and visits

"SUNDAY SEEKERS" is the Sunday School running at St Helen's, meeting on the third Sunday of the month.

On the remaining Sundays there is 'Jesus and Biscuits', when young ones can have their own time out of the main service for craft, story and refreshments.

"MESSY CHURCH" is on the second Sunday of the month (excepting school holidays) in the Done Room at 4.00 pm.

St Helen's has a children's corner for young ones.

CHOIR

There is a choir, under the leadership of Chas Hardern, the organist.

BELL RINGING

A fine set of bells rings out every Sunday.  For further details contact the Tower Captain on 01829 732412.   Practice night is on Tuesday.

GROWING IN FAITH

Study groups take place across the parish, to help us grow in our understanding of the Christian faith and to help us in our daily living.

FELLOWSHIP

Social and fund-raising events and activities throughout the year bring people together for a common purpose and for enjoyment.

SUPPORT

A Visiting Group is able to give support in times of bereavement and need.
